Make Up Use By The Futureheads

The Futureheads unsurprisingly do not wear any visible make up in any of their music videos that I have looked at for any of our research. This is not surprising as they are an Indie band. Indie bands are not likely to ever really wear makeup in any videos as it would not match the conventions of their genre. They may use very subtle make up for videos but you cant tell this by watching. Like The Futureheads we will not be using make up, this is not only to stick to the conventions but because we dont think that any of our character need or would wear make up. For example the policeman, the robber and the band members are all unlikely to be wearing makeup. However the only character in our video that may wear make up is the girl, this wont be anything significant though. Below are some are some images of The Futureheads and some other bands from this genre, this is to show that they do not wear make up but also to show some examples of costumes that are likely to be worn.
